Confessions of a Sinner

God I'm asking you to point me in the right direction, Show me the right path to love and affection, I know I aint livin' right there's no doubt and no question, But these things I do aren't habits they're more like infections.

Now I'm not asking you to do it all for me, But I know for a fact you've saved many men before me, I've been blind all this time but im starting to see, That I need you and only you to be set free.

I know in a prayer is where these statements belong, But the only way I could express my mind was through a song, You know my heart is good even though my actions are wrong, And I'm finally realizing this I just hope I didn't wait too long.
